The fish have moved into deeper water. Still using shinners and fishing 17 pulls down. All the fish caught today were between Soldier creek and North Island.

Started at 6:30 am not much wind around 5 mph. Drifted North island ledge in 50 feet of water. Still using shinners. Bait is still impossible to find. Fished straight down 8 turns off the bottom. Could not get many big one's in the boat. There is a bunch out there just not many hitting over 20 inches.

Here is the latest on where to fish. Started at 6:30am (early is better) at Sand creek (cross point). There was no wind so knew fish would be in deeper water 40 t0 50 feet deep. We were fishing shinners eight turns off the bottom. Caught our limit and never moved. Click on photo page to see today catch.

Fishing at cross point (Sand creek area) catching nice fish but it will take awhile to get a limit. Bait is still tough to find. Shinners and cut bait are still working. Talked to friends and fish are still being caught around North island.

Had a great day of fishing drifting between the islands along the Oklahoma shore line in 10 to 18 ft of water. Nothing big but good box fish. There is a lot of fish in this area several boats were anchored and it looked like they were all having good luck. Shiners and cut bait are both working.

The North wind has slowed the fishing a little. You can catch a good limit of striper if your not in a hurry. The North island ledge in 30 ft water has been working for me the last couple of days. Bait is still impossible to locate.

Not much has changed since my last report. Striper are still easy to catch around Mac creek area in 20ft to 30ft. Other areas of the lake are also holding fish along the river channel ledges.

Fished at Mac creek today. Striper were stacked in 24 ft water. No trouble catching a limit. Still drifting shiners three cranks off the bottom.

Drifting 15 to 20 feet deep water around north island having good luck using shiners. As the water warms the catch is getting better.

As most everyone knows fishing is a little ruff right now. After trying bait (Shiners) and drifting between the islands with not much success went to long lining with deep diving thunder sticks. We were able to catch some nice fish along the creek channels but it was slow to say the least. From the radio chatter sounded like just about everyone was having the same kind of day. Warmer weather is coming and with that fishing should improve.
