Double J Lodge

We have lodging available for our customers.  Double J Lodge is owned by Mr. Joe Brown and Dr. Jean-Lake Brown, from Douglass, KS.  It is conveniently located on Hwy 70 B  about 2 miles South of Kingston, OK and only about another 5 minute drive to Caney/Soldier Creek area where we will be starting our fishing trip from.  It sits on 5 acres for plenty of privacy and a nice view of the area.

Double J Lodge is divided into three separate living areas that are in excellent condition and kept very clean.  The three areas of the lodge can be opened into one large living area to accommodate you for large group trips, such as family reunions, corporate trips or just a large number of friends coming to fish together.

Condo #1 is called "The Striper" and it is the largest of the three.  It has 2 separate bedrooms with 2 extra long twin beds in each.  We pull these beds together, upon your request, to make a king size bed for couples or leave them separated for individuals, and we take care of all of this for you.  The living area has 2 sofas that fold out to make 2 more full beds.  There is also a very nice  full size bath with tub and shower in The Striper.  It is also supplied with a full size refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot (with coffee supplied) and popcorn is also provided. The room also provides a flat screen tv with cable television for viewing.  A large deck is just outside your door and has a large BBQ grill supplied for your use.  It is a great place to sit and enjoy the outdoors and do some star gazing. 

Condo #2 is in the center of the building and is called "The Minnow".  It has 4 separate extra long twin beds and a full bath with a walk in shower.  It is supplied with the same amenities as The Striper.  It opens onto a covered patio that is also supplied with a BBQ grill.  The minnow is set up great for the smaller group coming to fish but still has plenty of room to relax with out feeling crowded while in your room. 

Condo #3 is "The Blue Cat".  It has 5 separate extra long twin beds and a full bath with a walk in shower.  It is supplied with the same amenities as The Striper and opens onto a covered patio that is shared with The Minnow.  The Blue Cat is set up great for a little larger group and still has all the room needed to sit around, visit and relax. 

Remember, all of these rooms are adjoined and may be opened up to accommodate moving around from one condo to another.  Each room is also supplied with a current Lake Texoma Guide that will inform you about local areas of interest, such as dining, golf, malls and other activities around Lake Texoma.  Also provided is a map for driving directions around the area.  Both are provided for you to take away from your stay with us to make plans for your next visit with us. 

All three condos are NON-SMOKING AND NO PETS ARE ALLOWED.  Please respect our wishes and help us keep the Double J Lodge the nice facility that it now is.  There is no cleaning of fish allowed on the premises because we do not want to attract the local wildlife in to start expecting meals.  All guides associated with the lodge will clean your fish at the dock.  Each refrigerator is supplied with a separate tray in them for a place to keep your bags of filets after being cleaned.  Should you be fishing on your own, please make plans to clean your fish at the lake before returning to the lodge.
